- Yes, the patient must schedule the escort or caregivers when scheduling the ride.

- No. We are a private pay provider. We will give you a receipt for you to send into your insurance if they reimburse. However, we do work with Insurance Brokers, so ask your Insurance Provider if 1 Lifeline Medical Transportation can provide your transportation.

- We take credit cards at time of service only.

- We go anywhere you need us to go, local and long distance. We have transported clients hundreds of miles. These trips will be quoted based on several factors, primarily mileage.

- Unlike ride-sharing service (Uber, Lyft, etc.) our drivers are AED, CPR, First Aid and Defensive Driving certified and undergo regular drug screenings. Also, I drivers attend an annual training to ensure our client receive the best transportation service.

- Driver must have a valid driver's license for at least 4 years, including an F (For-Hire) endorsement. You will need a DOT physical within 30 days of hire and you must be able to push/pull wheelchairs and stretchers. You must have a clean background, pass a drug test and MUST have a clean motor vehicle report without any accidents, suspensions, or speeding tickets in past 3 years.
